Please join us as we announce and discuss the results of the 2010 edition of the

 Global Peace Index

an initiative of the Institute for Economics and Peace

The Global Peace Index (GPI), published by the Institute for Economics and Peace, is a ground-breaking annual report that ranks countries by their peacefulness using a diverse set of indicators. The GPI is collated for the IEP by the Economist Intelligence Unit in conjunction with an international panel of experts. The aim of the GPI is to better understand the determinants or "drivers" of peace. In the wake of the global recession, this year's GPI focuses on the relationship between the global financial systems and peace.
